On Friday, April 23rd, Kevin P. McGovern appeared as a guest speaker at the 30th Annual PERC Conference. Mr. McGovern was part of a panel discussion entitled “Negotiating in Difficult Economic Times” which focused on the legal and practical questions facing labor and management in the current fiscal climate. This issue has become all the more important in light of the State government’s recent assault on the collective bargaining process, a topic that will surely be discussed.

On March 23, 2010, James M. Mets, Esq. presented a seminar on Grievance Processing, which was sponsored by the American Arbitration Association.

On February 25, 2010 Widener Law School Sports & Entertainment Law Association held their fifth annual symposium. Featured in the sports panel examining the ongoing collective bargaining between the National Football League and The National Football Player’s Association were Leonard C. Schiro, Esq. and Brian Manetta, Esq., attorneys with Mets Schiro & McGovern, LLP.
